Job summary

Confidential Jobs is seeking a Pillar Two Expert to lead the technical tax elements of the Pillar Two implementation in Qatar. You will drive policy development, legislative drafting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance and timely readiness.

Responsibilities include coordinating with tax authorities, supporting BEPS-related projects, and creating taxpayer guides and training materials to promote robust tax governance in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Law, Business or Public Administration.
• Preferred certifications: CPA, CA, CTA.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in international tax matters.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills advantageous.
• Experience with BEPS Pillar Two and international tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy and legislative support for Pillar Two implementation in Qatar.
• Develop and communicate tax policy positions with benchmarking rationale.
• Collaborate with Tax Policies Department and with Tax Treaties/IR Department.
• Support BRDs, system implementation, and testing activities (UAT).
• Prepare taxpayer guides and internal standard operating procedures.
• Create public awareness materials and engage taxpayers on Pillar Two.
• Engage with external stakeholders and international bodies on BEPS matters.
