QNB Group seeks a tax professional to coordinate taxation across the group, including withholding tax and timely tax returns. You will work with multiple divisions to ensure compliance and support tax planning, liaise with IT for reporting needs, and assist auditors and authorities as required.

Requirements include a finance-related bachelor’s degree, CPA/CA and a tax certificate, plus 3 years of relevant experience. English fluency is essential; Arabic/French are a plus. On-site in Doha, Qatar.

Qualifications

University graduate with a relevant field of study (Finance, Banking, Economics, Mathematics or Accounting).
CPA or CA and a Taxation Certificate are a plus.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a professional accounting firm/tax consultancy or major bank with taxation exposure.
Good oral and written English; Arabic or French desirable.

Responsabilités

Coordinate taxation duties across the Group, including withholding tax on payments subject to WHT.
Analyze and submit tax returns and payments to local tax authorities in a timely manner.
Support ongoing tax provision requirements and ensure tax compliance across entities.
Identify tax risks and support mitigating actions; liaise with IT and other departments to resolve issues.
Provide tax advice and assist audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting as required.
Maintain taxation matrix summaries and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
