Description
This position is responsible for assisting in sourcing, attracting, and recruiting candidates for open positions in the hotel, as well as coordinating day-to-day talent acquisition and onboarding operations. The Recruitment Executive acts as a key operational contributor in promoting the hotel and brand as an employer of choice while supporting other HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Sourcing:
- Supports the execution of talent sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and hire suitable candidates for hotel roles.
- Regularly updates the recruitment tracker, headcount reports, and talent database.
- Posts vacant positions on the Kempinski Career Site
- Screens applications, conducts initial interviews, and coordinates reference checks for shortlisted candidates.
- Communicates regularly with Department Heads and Hiring Managers regarding ongoing hiring status and candidate updates
- Prepares employment contracts under the guidance of HR leadership.
- Maintains professional correspondence with candidates, recruitment agencies, and educational institutions in a timely manner.
- Proactively utilizes social media platforms and job portals (e.g., LinkedIn, Kempinski Career site) to source talent.
- Assists in organizing and participating in career fairs, localization programs, and career open days.
- Coordinates with external agencies for high-volume recruitment needs as directed by HR management.
Onboarding & Travel Coordination:
- Coordinates to books travel arrangements and flight tickets for new joiners.
- Oversees onboarding logistics upon candidate arrival, including airport transfers and liaising with the Accommodation Manager for room assignments.
- Prepares and sends internal arrival announcements to relevant departments.
- Ensures new joiners are welcomed, complete necessary employment paperwork, and receive a seamless orientation experience.
- Communicates new hire start dates to Department Heads and the Training department.
Administration:
- Prepares and hands over complete new-hire files (signed contracts, passport copies, photos, references, medical reports, etc.) to the HR Payroll team.
- Prepares contract addendums and updated job descriptions for internal promotions.
- Supports HR leadership with additional departmental projects, employee engagement events, and operational tasks as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven recruitment experience within a 5-Star Luxury Hotel environment.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.
- Excellent candidate assessment, screening, and interview skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities to liaise effectively with candidates and department heads.
