Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Doha is seeking a Recreation Associate to create engaging activity agendas and promote our recreational facilities. You will inventory supplies, recruit and schedule guests for events, and maintain a friendly, safe atmosphere for all visitors.

You will answer guest inquiries, process transactions, and assist with training staff to ensure quality service. This role requires attention to safety, proper etiquette, and teamwork in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Create recreational activity agendas and advertisements.
• Conduct inventory of supplies and inform manager of low items.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Provide information about available facilities and activities.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergencies per procedures.
• Assist injured guests until EMS arrives.
• Train, motivate, and coach employees as needed.
• Process orders and handle payments as required.
