Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Doha seeks a Department leader for pool and beach operations, overseeing maintenance, daily upkeep, and cabana unit operation. You will model service behaviors and foster an engaging guest experience while guiding the Recreation team.

The role includes supervising staff, scheduling activities, coordinating vendors such as water sports, and ensuring safety, quality, and financial goals align with the brand service strategy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years experience in recreation/health club operations or related area
• Or a 2-year degree in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years experience in recreation/health club operations or related area
• Experience in supervising and managing employees

Responsibilities

• Direct recreation operations, supervise staff and daily activities
• Maintain quality, standards and customer expectations
• Develop department goals and plans and implement brand service strategy
• Coordinate vendors and activities such as water sports and scuba
• Oversee HR activities within Recreation Department
