Job summary

Candidzone is urgently hiring 6 to 7 qualified Telecom Technicians for on-site work in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This 6-month extendable contract covers installation, testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of integrated telecom and ELV systems in high-consequence facilities.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oil & Gas, heavy industrial, or EPC environments, with strong HSE compliance and ability to work in rigorous field conditions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Telecom/ELV field experience.
• Experience installing CCTV, access control, and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, termination, testing, and commissioning of telecom/ELV systems on industrial sites.
• Install and maintain CCTV, access control, and F&G monitoring devices.
• Perform copper and fiber cabling, patch panel terminations, and cable routing.
• Interpret drawings, P&IDs, and schematics for field installations.
• Conduct loop checks and fiber OTDR/attenuation measurements.
• Troubleshoot telecom field devices and control panels to ensure high availability.
