Job summary

Qureos is looking for a QHSE Officer/Coordinator in Qatar to support Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements across FM operations. You will ensure compliance with company, client, Qatar, and international standards.

Role requires NEBOSH Diploma and fluent Arabic and English, with at least five years’ QHSE experience in GCC projects and two in Facility Management, including audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma is required.
• Health & Safety qualification required.
• Minimum 5 years QHSE experience after NEBOSH qualification.
• Minimum 2 years in Facility Management.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine QHSE inspections, audits, and site assessments.
• Monitor FM activities for compliance with safety procedures.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and monitor corrective actions.
• Support incident investigation, reporting, and preventive actions.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, records, inspections, and reports.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Coordinate with operations, management, contractors, and stakeholders.

Job Summary

The QHSE Officer / Coordinator will support the implementation and monitoring of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements across FM operations, ensuring compliance with company, client, Qatar, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine QHSE inspections, audits, and site assessments.
• Monitor FM activities for compliance with approved safety procedures.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and monitor corrective actions.
• Support incident investigation, reporting, and preventive actions.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, records, inspections, and reports.
• Conduct toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and safety briefings.
• Coordinate with operations teams, management, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support implementation of Quality, HSE, Environmental, and Risk Management systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards including ISO 45001 and applicable NFPA requirements.

Requirements

• Recognized Health & Safety qualification.
• NEBOSH Diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years' QHSE experience after obtaining the NEBOSH qualification, within similar-sized GCC projects.
• Minimum 2 years' experience within Facility Management.
• Strong experience in safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and site monitoring.
• Good understanding of ISO 45001, NFPA, and applicable Qatar requirements.
• Fluent in Arabic and English – mandatory.
• Multi-site FM experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
