Swan Global is seeking an experienced HSE Officer for a short-term assignment in Ras Laffan, Qatar, focusing on QE project requirements. The role ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and implements the client’s safety management systems on-site.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HSE experience in oil & gas or construction, QE project exposure, and a valid NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer with prior Qatar Energy (QE) project experience to join our team for a short-term assignment in Ras Laffan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and implementing safety management systems in line with company and client requirements.
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs on-site.
Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy HSE standards and regulations.
Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE training to site personnel.
Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records in accordance with company and client requirements.
Support and promote a strong safety culture across all site operations.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the oil & gas or construction sector.
Previous experience in Qatar Energy (QE) projects is mandatory.
Valid NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification.
Knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work in high-risk environments and ensure team compliance.
Salary: QAR 5000 + Food, Accommodation, and Transportation
Duration: 3 months (extendable based on performance and project needs)
