Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist for Qatar to support license-to-operate and day-to-day compliance. The role involves regulatory submissions, government relations, and coordination with HR, PROs, and authorities to ensure timely renewals and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, Supply Chain, International Business or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Qatar MNE.
• Experience in regulatory affairs, government relations, licensing, immigration or PRO activities, or a comparable business-support role.
• Working knowledge of Qatar government and regulatory processes affecting foreign branches or multinational companies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience preferred.
• Professional written and spoken English; Arabic language capability is a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate local regulatory and government-authority interfaces relevant to Qatar activities, including follow-up with ministries and chambers.
• Lead and coordinate shutdown-related activities ensuring timely completion.
• Maintain a complete regulatory calendar and coordinate renewal of registrations and licenses.
• Prepare, review and follow up government submissions and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate updates to corporate and branch records and provide authorized-signatory support as needed.
