Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior Compliance professional to support development and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and internal controls in Doha, Qatar. You will monitor regulations, perform risk assessments, and provide guidance to stakeholders on governance and operational matters.

The role requires 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in compliance or regulatory affairs, with strong drafting and analytical skills, and fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related discipline. A professional legal qualification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in legal compliance, regulatory affairs, corporate governance, risk management, or a similar role.
• Experience working in a regulated environment or government-related entity is an advantage.
• Knowledge of compliance management frameworks, corporate governance principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience drafting policies, procedures, legal documents, and compliance reports.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, monitoring activities, and investigations to ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal policies.
• Coordinate regulatory filings, reporting obligations, and compliance documentation.
• Provide practical legal and compliance guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory, governance, and operational matters.
• Support internal and external audits, compliance inquiries, investigations, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver compliance awareness and training initiatives across the organization.
• Maintain compliance registers, risk logs, and governance documentation.
• Support corporate governance, ethics, conflicts of interest, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, data protection, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
