Job summary

Bornan Sports Technology in Doha, DAW, QA is seeking a capable QA Engineer to join our Digital team. This on-site role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products across the portfolio, collaborating with Product Owners, developers and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will design and execute tests for web platforms, mobile apps and back-office systems, document defects, and help drive QA best practices across projects in sports tech.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA / software testing roles.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing best practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience building structured test case lists and test documentation.
• Ability to work across multiple products and projects simultaneously.
• Technology-agnostic approach - ability to test any platform or stack without prior specific knowledge of the technology.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Product, Dev, Stakeholders).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, write and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans and test lists for a variety of digital products (web platforms, mobile apps, back-office systems)
• Execute manual testing across functional, regression, integration and end-to-end scenarios
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test coverage
• Identify, document and track defects clearly in project management tools (e.g. Monday.com, GitHub)
• Participate in requirements reviews and provide quality input early in the development cycle
• Communicate testing progress, risks and blockers to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices within the team
• Coordinate validation sessions with clients and external stakeholders when required
