Job summary

Bornan Sports Technology in Doha is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of our digital products across the portfolio. You will collaborate with Product Owners, developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable software throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, maintaining test documentation, and identifying defects in project management tools. You will help improve QA processes and coordinate validation sessions with clients as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA / software testing roles.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing best practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience building structured test case lists and test documentation.
• Ability to work across multiple products and projects simultaneously.
• Technology-agnostic approach to testing across platforms.
• Strong collaboration with Product, Dev and Stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

• Communicate testing progress, risks and blockers to stakeholders.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.
• Coordinate validation sessions with clients and external stakeholders when needed.

Our expertise covers real-time results, timing, and TV graphics services, supporting seamless event operations worldwide.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Digital team in Doha. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Bornan's digital products across the full portfolio, working closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans and test lists for a variety of digital products (web platforms, mobile apps, back-office systems)
• Execute manual testing across functional, regression, integration and end-to-end scenarios
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test coverage
• Identify, document and track defects clearly in project management tools (e.g. com, GitHub)
• Participate in requirements reviews and provide quality input early in the development cycle
• Communicate testing progress, risks and blockers to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices within the team
• Coordinate validation sessions with clients and external stakeholders when required

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in QA / software testing roles
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing best practices and the software development lifecycle
• Experience building structured test case lists and test documentation
• Ability to work across multiple products and projects simultaneously
• Technology-agnostic approach - ability to test any platform or stack without prior specific knowledge of the technology
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Product, Dev, Stakeholders)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience with test automation tools or scripting
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Background in or passion for sports technology
