Job summary

Client of Dynamic Staffing Solutions is seeking a Permit-to-Work Supervisor in Qatar to oversee permit issuance, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with site teams. The role involves conducting pre-job safety meetings, reviewing permits, and closing permits after completion, with emphasis on protecting workers and adhering to hazardous task procedures.

Strong understanding of hot work and confined space procedures, plus the ability to liaise between workers and management, are required.

Qualifications

• Must have safety training in PTOW and related certifications.
• Ability to conduct pre-job safety meetings and briefings.
• Capable of coordinating between workers and management on safety matters.

Responsibilities

• Initiating and completing all applicable sections of the permit to work.
• Review and issue work permits, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-job safety meetings to discuss hazards and safety measures.
• Oversee work activities to ensure adherence to permit conditions and safety standards.
• Act as a liaison between workers and management regarding safety and permit requirements.
• Ensure workers are aware of emergency procedures related to the work being performed.
• Verify that work is completed safely and close permits accordingly.
• Completion of safety training, including Permit-to-Work and specific certifications (e.g., confined space, hot work).
• Understand various permit types (e.g., hot work, confined space) and the permit process.
