Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a qualified Permit to Work (PTW) Holder for civil activities in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. The role focuses on controlling, coordinating, and facilitating safe permit issuance for civil operations.

The incumbent will ensure all PTW procedures are followed, monitor ongoing work, and support risk assessments to mitigate hazards before work begins. This is a 6-month on-site contract with a demanding but rewarding safety-critical scope.

Qualifications

• Valid PTW Training Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in civil construction or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of work permit systems and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Indian nationals preferred; however, candidates of other nationalities may be considered if no suitable Indian candidate is available.

Responsibilities

• Review, issue, and control work permits for civil activities in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure all work is planned and executed safely.
• Monitor ongoing civil work to ensure compliance with PTW procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of issued permits and related documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to the workforce regarding permit requirements and safety protocols.
• Assist in risk assessment and ensure hazards are identified and mitigated before work begins.
