Job summary

Lyasmin Design & Build in Qatar is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Fit-Out to join our team. The role focuses on leading interior fit-out projects, coordinating architectural and technical drawings, and ensuring work aligns with schedules, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include tendering, BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost control, and coordination with clients, consultants and subcontractors. GCC/Qatar market experience and AutoCAD proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering, Interior Design or related field.
• Proven fit-out and interior construction project experience.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, tendering and pricing.

• Prepare and review tenders, BOQs, quantity take-offs and project pricing.
• Review and coordinate architectural, interior and technical drawings.
• Plan, manage and supervise fit-out works from start to finish.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor daily site activities, progress, quality and workmanship.
• Ensure works align with drawings, specs, schedules and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, design and site coordination issues.
• Coordinate fit-out works with MEP and electrical requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports and submissions.
• Assist in controlling project costs, materials, resources and timelines.

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Fit-Out to join our team in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tenders, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and project pricing.
• Review and coordinate architectural, interior, and technical drawings.
• Plan, manage, and supervise fit-out works from project start to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor daily site activities, project progress, quality, and workmanship.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, design, and site coordination issues.
• Coordinate fit-out works with MEP and electrical requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and technical submissions.
• Assist in controlling project costs, materials, resources, and timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fit-out and interior construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, tendering, and project pricing.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and construction details.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant project management/design software.
• Experience in site supervision, project coordination, and subcontractor management.
• Experience in the GCC/Qatar market is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under project deadlines.
• Qatar driving license is preferred.
