Job summary

Vistas Global is seeking a seasoned Senior Projects Manager to lead complex internal fit-out programs in Qatar. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate design teams, consultants, contractors and MEP partners to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

You will oversee risk management, stakeholder communications, and governance, while aligning with QHSE requirements and regulatory approvals. Experience with design & build and client representation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from a recognized university is mandatory.
• Master's degree in Project Management or related field is preferred.
• PMP certification mandatory; FIDIC, Contract Management or related certifications preferred.
• 12–15+ years of experience in engineering project management; senior-level experience required.
• Experience managing internal fit-out projects, design & build, and client/PMC coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple internal fit-out projects from planning through completion within time, cost and quality targets.
• Develop and monitor Project Execution Plans and ensure effective implementation.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate design teams, consultants, contractors, and MEP disciplines for smooth integration.
• Monitor site progress and performance; prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation and corrective action plans.
• Review payment certificates and verify executed quantities with commercial team.
• Manage variations, claims and their impact on cost and schedule.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements throughout execution.
• Coordinate with government authorities for approvals and permits.
• Lead progress and coordination meetings and make timely operational decisions.
• Maintain project records and documentation per control procedures.
• Support the Program Director with strategic recommendations and program objectives.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple internal fit-out projects from planning through completion ensuring delivery within approved time cost and quality requirements. Prepare and monitor Project Execution Plans and ensure effective implementation. Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and or MS Project. Coordinate design teams consultants contractors and MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project integration. Monitor site progress and performance against approved schedules and project objectives. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports covering achievements risks challenges and recommendations. Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective action plans. Supervise consultants and contractors and ensure compliance with contracts specifications and approved standards. Review payment certificates and verify executed quantities in coordination with the commercial team. Manage variations claims and their impact on project cost and schedule. Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements throughout project execution. Coordinate with relevant government authorities for required approvals and permits. Manage project stakeholders and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Lead progress and coordination meetings and make timely operational decisions. Oversee project completion handover documentation and operational readiness. Maintain proper project records reports correspondence and documentation in accordance with document control procedures. Support the Program Director with strategic recommendations and overall program objectives. Ensure effective resource allocation while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from a recognized university is mandatory. Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or a related field is preferred. PMP certification or equivalent is mandatory. FIDIC, Construction Management, or Contract Management certification is preferred. Additional certifications in Risk Management or Planning/Scheduling are advantageous. 12-15+ years of experience in engineering project management. Minimum 5 years in a Senior Projects Manager or equivalent position. Proven experience managing Internal Fit-Out Projects, preferably within institutional or governmental environments. Strong experience in Design & Build project execution. Good understanding and coordination of MEP systems within fit-out projects. Previous experience as a Client Representative or PMC/Project Management Consultant is mandatory. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong experience dealing with consultants, contractors, contracts, variations, claims, and project risks. Experience using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Qatar or GCC project experience is preferred. Knowledge of Qatar government regulations, approvals, and procedures is advantageous.
