Job summary

One Thousand Walls Interiors & Decoration W.L.L Doha is seeking a Project Engineer Civil / Fit-Out to lead site operations, coordinate with contractors, and ensure civil and interior works meet high-quality standards in Qatar.

You will supervise daily site activities, liaise with multinational teams, review drawings, and support the Project Manager with progress reporting and issue resolution.

Objective / Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer Civil / Fit-Out who is results-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will manage site operations, coordinate with contractors, and ensure civil and fit-out works are executed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• Manage communication and coordination between all parties involved in the project.
• Review drawings, specifications, and materials to ensure accurate execution.
• Liaise with main and sub-contractors to ensure smooth task completion and adherence to site regulations.
• Support the Project Manager in resolving technical issues and providing updates on project progress.

Site Supervision

• Oversee daily site operations, including supervising site labor and subcontractors.
• Act as the main technical advisor on-site for civil and fit-out work.
• Ensure that all materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications and project standards.
• Work effectively within multi-national project teams.

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations at all times.
• Identify site issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and materials.
• Prepare daily reports and communicate progress updates to the Project Manager.

Education, Experience, and Skills

Education

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering.
• Advanced degrees or professional certifications in construction management are a plus.

Experience

• 8+ years of relevant experience in civil and interior fit-out projects.
• Experience working in multi-national teams preferred.
• Experience in Gulf countries / Middle East required.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil works and interior fit-out construction processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in construction.

• Experience Range: 8+ years relevant experience; multi-national project experience preferred.
• Location Preference: Candidates currently based in Qatar, UAE, or available for relocation.
