Job summary

Blueprint in Qatar is seeking an experienced Fit-Out Site Engineer to oversee on-site execution of interior finishing works, ensure quality, and drive timely project delivery. The role requires full-time on-site presence, leadership of construction crews, and coordination with subcontractors and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of interior fit-out experience, strong drawing interpretation skills, and a track record in site supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out projects.
• Proven experience independently managing and supervising the full site execution of fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for day-to-day management and supervision of all site activities throughout the fit-out project.
• Be on-site full-time to manage site operations, coordinate work teams, and monitor daily progress.
• Plan, organize, and supervise all fit-out activities, including civil works, flooring, ceilings, partitions, wall cladding, joinery, painting, and finishing.
• Ensure works are executed per approved shop drawings, specs, material approvals, and project requirements.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, technicians, and site workers to ensure efficient execution.
• Monitor manpower, material deliveries, site logistics, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, main contractors, and stakeholders to resolve site issues and avoid delays.
• Identify technical discrepancies and propose practical solutions with the project team.
• Monitor progress against schedule and ensure completion within timeframe.
• Maintain high workmanship and quality control, with regular inspections.
• Enforce site safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized working environment.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and records of manpower and materials.
• Manage snagging, rectification, testing, and final handover activities.
