Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar seeks a seasoned Audit & Project Assurance professional to coordinate annual audit plans, ensure project readiness for audits, and align reviews with established frameworks.

You will lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Projects and Subsurface, report key audit activities to management, drive corrective actions, and share lessons learned while supporting proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering required.
• 8 years Oil & Gas experience across multiple project functions.
• 1 year in a supervisory or personnel oversight role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual audit plan and ensure project readiness for audits.
• Ensure audits comply with established frameworks and meet auditor and auditee expectations.
• Schedule Major Project Reviews in line with the Project Management System and management requirements.
• Periodically report key audit and review activities to management.
• Align stakeholders on corrective action plans and closure of audit and review findings.
• Follow up on timely implementation of audit actions by project teams and departments.
• Support audit planning by providing project information promptly.
• Share key audit and review lessons learned across relevant teams.

Ensure Major Project Reviews, Internal and External Reviews, and Audits are planned, coordinated, and completed in accordance with approved charters, project processes, policies, procedures, and audit requirements, acting as the single point of contact and coordinating review and audit teams.

• Knowledge of project gating, execution planning, risk and change management, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
