Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a Procurement Engineer to identify qualified suppliers, analyze drawings, and manage procurement for projects. You will prepare RFQs and purchase orders, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with specifications and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering required; Mechanical/Electrical/Civil or related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer or in a similar procurement/purchasing role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review and analyze technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements to determine procurement needs.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, purchase orders, and tender documents.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions with suppliers.
• Ensure purchased materials and equipment comply with quality standards and technical specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
• Maintain updated records of suppliers, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and industry trends.

Qualifications & Requirements
