Job summary

Client of Premium Solutions Consultancy is seeking a procurement professional in Qatar to manage building materials sourcing, supplier evaluation, RFQs, and negotiations. The role involves coordinating POs, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining supplier records.

The ideal candidate brings proven construction procurement experience, SAP expertise, and strong Excel reporting skills to support project budgets and procurement analysis.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience in building materials or construction.
• Strong SAP experience across procurement processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data and reporting.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Good understanding of budgeting, vendor selection and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities for building materials and construction requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price quality availability and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and issue RFQs and obtain competitive quotations.
• Negotiate pricing payment terms delivery schedules and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Prepare quotation comparisons and purchase recommendations.
• Coordinate purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding order status delivery and documentation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information.
• Coordinate closely with project warehouse finance and operations teams.
• Monitor material requirements and support timely procurement for ongoing projects.
• Use SAP for procurement-related transactions records and processes.
• Prepare procurement reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and approved budgets.
