Kingston Stanley is seeking a Principal – IT & Digital to join a leading consultancy. You will shape IT strategies, drive digital transformation, and lead complex IT programmes for clients in the Energy sector, including Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals.

Senior leadership role focusing on technology architecture, cloud, data and AI, with responsibility for delivering high-value outcomes and mentoring diverse teams. Strong stakeholder engagement and execution capability are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in IT or digital transformation consulting.
• Strong energy sector experience (Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals).
• Expertise in IT/digital architecture, Cloud, Data and AI.

Responsibilities

• Advise C-suite on IT strategy, digital transformation and technology-led business transformation.
• Lead complex IT transformation programmes from strategy through delivery.

• Provide expertise across IT/Digital Architecture, Cloud, Data and AI.
• Lead and mentor diverse consulting teams, driving high performance and knowledge sharing.
• Manage project quality, risk, client expectations and senior-level escalations.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor and thought leader to clients.
• Contribute to the growth of the Energy Practice, including business development and thought leadership.

We are seeking a Principal – IT & Digital to join a leading consulting practice and work closely with senior leadership teams across the Energy sector, including Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals.

This is a senior consulting leadership role focused on shaping and delivering IT strategies, digital transformation, technology architecture, cloud, data and AI solutions that create long-term business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise C-suite and senior client stakeholders on IT strategy, digital transformation and technology-led business transformation.
• Lead complex IT transformation programmes from strategy through execution and delivery.
• Develop IT strategies, operating models, digital platforms, architectures and technology solutions.
• Provide expertise across IT/Digital Architecture, Cloud, Data and AI.
• Lead and mentor diverse consulting teams, driving high performance, knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Manage project quality, risk, client expectations and senior-level escalations.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT consulting, technology consulting or digital transformation.
• Strong Energy sector experience, particularly Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals or related industries.
• Strong expertise in IT/Digital Architecture, Cloud, Data and AI.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing consulting teams.
• Excellent academic qualifications.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to drive hands-on execution and delivery.

Ideal background: Senior Manager, Principal, Associate Partner or equivalent within a leading management/technology consulting firm, with strong Energy-sector exposure.
