Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Principal IT/Digital in the Energy Practice to lead and shape IT strategies for major energy clients. You will drive transformations, guide architecture and cloud initiatives, and mentor diverse teams across engagements.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in IT consulting or digital transformation.
• Experience in Energy sector (e.g., Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals).
• Track record in IT transformation delivery.
• Expertise in IT/ Digital architecture, cloud, data & AI topics.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Excellent academic degree.
• Excellent English communication skills, Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT/digital transformation projects in the Energy practice.
• Define IT strategies and win buy-in from leadership.
• Coach and manage diverse project teams across client engagements.

What You'll Do

As a Principal IT/Digital in the Energy Practice, you will work closely with our client's leadership teams to understand their key challenges, define IT strategies, win buy-in for your recommendations and lead fellow BCG case team members to transform client potential into performance with high-impact assignments. You will deploy customized IT strategies, digital platforms and architecture in order to leverage the digital potential of our customers in order to deliver long lasting value.

You will evaluate and coach our clients' technology teams, manage quality and risk while maintaining client expectations and escalations. Besides the functional guidance of the project team you will also be operationally responsible for the execution and management of the solution. Together with our clients you will develop convincing IT strategies, concepts and solutions that have a lasting impact on the organization, operating model, digital, and/or data landscape.

You will manage diverse teams of consulting talent. Your role will be to help those teams flourish by provoking thought, team mentoring, knowledge sharing, giving frequent feedback and creating opportunities for team members to learn and grow. You will also personally develop and grow by being exposed to new and complex challenges daily.

Clients will also seek your advice as a thought leader on business issues that extend beyond the immediate scope of your project work. Finally as a Principal you will contribute to the Practice Area development and help to strengthen the BCG Platinion brand as a AI and digital leader.
