Job summary

Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. is seeking a Plant Inspector to develop and execute inspection programs for pressure vessels, piping and tanks in our petrochemical facilities in Qatar.

The role includes coordinating NDT technicians and contract inspectors, preparing inspection reports, and leading turnaround inspections with documentation. Responsibilities include risk-based inspection planning, adherence to OE, ISO, and insurance audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the O&G industry.
• Experience in Petrochemicals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute plant inspection of pressure vessels, piping and tanks.
• Coordinate external NDT technicians and contract inspectors.
• Prepare inspection reports and recommendations after inspections in Meridium and SAP notifications.
• Lead turnaround inspections and documentation.
• Attend Reliability Improvement meetings and coordinate with Production/Maintenance.
• Conduct root cause failure analyses with equipment engineers.
