Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a skilled draughtsman to produce and update piping and instrument drawings for oil and gas projects. The role focuses on P&IDs, isometrics, GA plans, and supporting documents.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, plus familiarity with SP3D or AVEVA tools. On‑site work in a petrochemical environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree required in engineering or related field.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update P&IDs and piping isometrics.
• Develop GA drawings, plot plans, key plans, and pipe support drawings.
• Create equipment and structural drawings including MTO and BOM.
• Conduct site surveys and produce accurate as‑built drawings from field measurements.
• Update drawings as part of MOC processes.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Piping Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and piping isometrics
• Develop general arrangement (GA) drawings, plot plans, key plans, and pipe support drawings
• Develop equipment and structural support platform drawings, including material take‑off (MTO) and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Conduct site surveys and prepare accurate as‑built drawings based on field measurements
• Update engineering drawings as part of the Management of Change (MOC) process
• Perform quality checks on engineering drawings and ensure compliance with company drafting standards
• Validate consistency between engineering drawings and plant databases (equipment tags, line numbers and references)
• Review and integrate vendor drawings into existing plant documentation
• Support plant turnaround (TA) activities by ensuring engineering drawings are complete and up to date
• Maintain drawing revisions, redlines and documentation within the company’s electronic document management system (EDMS/ECM)

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Preferred Skills

• Experience with one or more of the following: SmartPlant3D (SP3D), AVEVA E3D, PDS, MicroStation, SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID)
• Strong knowledge of P&IDs, piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, plot plans, MTO & BOM, as‑built documentation, plant layouts, MOC processes
