Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services seeks a Senior Piping and Layout Engineer to supervise engineering activities in Qatar. The role covers execution on projects, including onshore facilities, across design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria, with FEED and EPC detailed design experience.

The ideal candidate has broad knowledge of engineering execution, with at least 8 years in engineering roles and 4 years in oil & gas, including supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8 years of experience in engineering roles including 4 years in oil & gas.
• At least 1 year in supervisory or oversight of contractors/vendor personnel.
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software (PDS/SP3D).
• Senior piping and layout engineering supervisory level with broad project execution knowledge.
• FEED and EPC detailed design experience.
• Knowledge of international standards in the area of expertise.

Qualifications*

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience*8 years of experience in Engineering roles, including 4 years in the oil & gas industry, including 1 year in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.

Basic knowledge of 3D Modeling software (PDS/SP3D).

Senior Piping and Layout Engineering supervisory level with a broad knowledge Engineering execution on projects including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore facilities design, construction and operations.

FEED and EPC detailed design experience

Skill / knowledge in application of international standards in his area of expertise.
