Job summary

Geosoft Surtech is seeking an experienced AVEVA E3D Administrator in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years’ experience managing E3D administration and related tools. You will be responsible for generating clash reports, managing piping catalogs, and providing user support for design inconsistencies.

The role requires a strong understanding of engineering practices and detailed design engineering, along with the ability to customize E3D systems and manage project databases effectively.

Job description

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical stream, or an equivalent technical discipline with an engineering background.
• Strong understanding of current engineering design, drafting applications and engineering data integration software packages
• Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in E3D Administration
• Utilizes current systems technology, tools and processes to achieve these aims
• Good understanding of engineering practices & project execution concepts

Professional Skills

• Experience in Detailed Design Engineering. Experience on Onshore and Offshore projects.
• Piping Catalog development and Customization as per international standard (ASME / DIN) for company master database.
• Piping Support Catalog development & Customization as per company piping support standard for company master database.
• Create and Manage AVEVA E3D Project – Standalone Project and Global Project
• Manage Administration in E3D Draw, Isodraw and Paragon modules.
• Generate Review session and Clash report from 3D model.
• Provide User-Support to clear design inconsistencies.
• Generate Reports from E3D
• Customize E3D using PML

Key Accountabilities

• Good knowledge in E3D Standalone Administration – Setup / Restore E3D project, Merge, Backtrack and Reconfigure databases, Perform DICE check, Create & Assign ACRs
• Knowledge in E3D Global Administration – Setup a Global Project, Create Locations and Assign databases, Manage Extract Databases
• Create Catalogues for Standard Piping Components, Instruments and Special Components
• Create & Modify Piping Specifications
• Create & Modify Structural and Tray Catalogues
• Generate Review Session from 3D Model.
• Setup Clash Management and generate Clash report.
• Customize E3D to generate GA drawings and Isometrics based on project requirements.
