Job summary

Sidra Medicine seeks a Surgical Specialist in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery to deliver care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role includes on-call coverage for ED and inpatient services, with involvement in fracture reductions and emergency procedures.

The specialist will run fracture clinics, participate in regular elective theatre sessions, and work within a multidisciplinary team across wards, PICU, NICU, and ER.

Qualifications

• Senior surgeon with pediatric orthopedic subspecialty.
• On-call responsibilities including ED coverage and inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for in-patients and out-patients in pediatric orthopedics.
• Participate in on-call rota and assist in Emergency theatres for orthopedic cases.
• Run fracture clinics and participate in elective theatre sessions under supervision.
• Care for patients in wards and intensive care areas (PICU, NICU, ER) as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in teaching and scholarly/quality projects.
