Job summary

SummitLogic in Al-Rayyan, Qatar seeks a skilled Pastry Chef to create desserts, pastries and breads that meet the highest quality standards while managing inventory and ensuring food safety.

You will train pastry assistants, maintain a clean, organized pastry station, monitor costs and waste, and collaborate with the kitchen team to harmonize dessert offerings with the menu.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to create visually appealing and tasty desserts.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English.

You will also be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
