Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a Telecommunications Commissioning Engineer – Offshore. You will lead installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of telecom systems offshore, coordinating FAT/SAT activities for CCTV, IP telephony, UHF/VHF, and AIS, with strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

The role requires 12–15 years in telecom commissioning, including 8–10 years in oil and gas facilities, FEED/EPIC exposure, and travel to client sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
• 12–15 years telecom commissioning experience, incl. 8–10 years in oil & gas facilities.
• FEED and EPIC greenfield/brownfield telecom projects experience.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, ACS, PA/GA, PABX, IP telephony, UHF/VHF radio, telemetry, AIS.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Visio, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
• Excellent communication, coordination, planning and leadership skills.
• BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS and Basic H2S certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover of telecom systems.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT activities for CCTV, ACS, PA/GA, PABX, IP telephony, UHF/VHF, telemetry and AIS.
• Prepare and approve drawings, method statements, test procedures, and deliverables.
• Manage commissioning activities from engineering to site handover, troubleshooting, and acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, standards, HSE, and risk-management procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams; manage site resources and schedules.
