Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar seeks a Lead Engineer to drive multidisciplinary Brownfield modifications offshore, ensuring compliance and robust interface management. You will oversee surveys, studies, and field verification while coordinating with operations, construction, and commissioning teams.

The role requires extensive offshore Brownfield experience, strong standards knowledge, and leadership to guide EPC contractors and vendors through delivery and change processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Piping, Electrical or relevant discipline).
• 10 years’ engineering and major project execution experience, incl. 6 years Oil & Gas; 2 years in supervision.
• Experience in Brownfield engineering and offshore facility modifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering for Brownfield modifications, upgrades, tie-ins and facility integration.
• Ensure compliance with company requirements, project specs, codes and standards.
• Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, Operations, Construction, Installation and Commissioning.
• Oversee site surveys, engineering studies and field verification.
• Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Resolve technical issues, deviations and field changes via change management.
