Job summary

Swan Global seeks an experienced MEP Supervisor in Qatar to oversee daily maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across facilities. The role includes supervising technicians, coordinating activities with clients and contractors, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities cover preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, recordkeeping, and reporting. Successful candidates will read MEP drawings and manage inventory while maintaining high safety

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Building Maintenance or Facilities Management.
• Experience supervising MEP maintenance teams.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and reporting.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Position Title: MEP Supervisor

Location: Qatar
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within commercial, residential, or industrial facilities. The successful candidate will supervise maintenance activities, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate with technicians to ensure all MEP systems operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Allocate work assignments and monitor the performance of MEP technicians.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pumps, generators, and other building services.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems and identify maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers regarding maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and service documentation.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables required for maintenance.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe work practices at all times.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and system breakdowns.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Building Maintenance or Facilities Management (preferred).
• Experience supervising MEP maintenance teams.
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, pumps, firefighting systems, and building services.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and reporting.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple maintenance activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage.
