Job summary

Mawaqif Qatar is seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor for a full-time, on-site role in Doha. You will inspect facilities, develop and manage maintenance schedules, and supervise technicians to ensure efficient operations.

You will also contribute to budgets, monitor inventories, and coordinate with vendors while upholding safety and quality standards in a multicultural team environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in maintenance team supervision or similar role.
• Understanding of budgeting, planning and performance management.
• Must be IT literate, numerate and analytical.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
• Must be fluent in written and oral English language.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities to determine problems and maintenance needs.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
• Supervise and train maintenance technicians.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance with technicians (electricians, plumbers, etc.).
• Inspect and maintain building systems (HVAC, etc.).
• Contribute to maintenance budget development.
• Ensure compliance with Client KPI.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
• Oversee operations to ensure efficient facilities management.

Brief Role Description

• Responsible for inspecting the facilities to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
• Preparing completing the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules and allocate works required.
• Supervising and training the maintenance technicians.
• Supervising maintenance technicians during repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.).
• Inspecting and maintaining building systems (heating, ventilation etc.).
• Contributing to the development of maintenance budget.
• Ensuring compliance as per the Client’s KPI.
• Monitoring the inventory of materials and equipment.
• Ensuring that the facilities is running efficiently by overseeing both the personnel and the equipment.
• Palling operations policies and procedures, managing facility workers and supervising usage of supplies and equipment for Hotel Park.
• Coordinating and integrating the activities of all operations systems within the facilities for seamless efficiency such as purchasing of equipment, distribution of information through briefing and de-briefing.
• Should be creative in managing the facilities that reduce costs and improve efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Responsible for timely execution of work, coordination with vendors and contractors to get the work done.
• Ensuring adherence and promoting quality, health, safety and environmental requirements and practices always.
