Job summary

Qureos in Doha is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support operation and maintenance of electromechanical building systems, ensuring activities are delivered safely and to technical standards.

The role requires 3+ years in facilities management with GCC project exposure, strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and ELV systems, and fluency in Arabic and English. QHSE compliance and reporting are important components of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' Facility Management experience.
• Experience with GCC projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and ELV systems.
• Understanding of Qatar standards and QHSE requirements.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• QCDD certification preferred; Grade B by Kahramaa preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities.
• Monitor electrical, mechanical, ELV, HVAC and related systems.
• Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot faults and propose corrective solutions.
• Coordinate supervisors, technicians and contractors.
• Monitor system performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE and applicable standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance recommendations.
• Support planning and supervision of technical teams.

• Coordinate supervisors, technicians, and specialist contractors.
• Monitor system performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE and applicable technical standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance recommendations.
• Support planning and supervision of technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' Facility Management experience.
• Experience with similar-sized projects within the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and ELV systems.
• Good knowledge of standards applicable within Qatar.
• Good understanding of Quality Management and QHSE requirements.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
• QCDD certification preferred.
• Grade B classification by Kahramaa / competent authority preferred.
