Job summary

Qatar Project Management (QPM) is seeking a Rail specific candidate for supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP for underground Metro Rail Transit projects in Doha, Qatar. The ideal applicant will have at least 10 years of railway-related experience as a MEP construction manager and a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Responsibilities include overseeing MEP systems and collaborating with engineering teams during project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Railway related experience as a Construction MEP manager with strong installation background.
• Degree educated in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with Metro Rail Transit projects.

Overview

Role Overview: Rail Specific

The ideal candidate is in charge of the supervision of the installation, testing and commissioning of MEP and coordination with Railway systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of MEP in underground Metro Rail Transit projects under construction, and specifically in systems for ventilation, fire protection, power supply and distribution, Signaling and Automatic Protection, Operation and Supervision of trains, other Low Current systems, Control and Remote Operation Systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to assist the MEP/HVAC Design Manager with the review of related designs and join the construction team once related site execution works commence.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Railway related experience - Construction MEP manager with strong installer background
• Degree educated within a relevant engineering field (Mechanical or Electrical)
