Job summary

Candidzone L.L.C. seeks experienced Mechanical Piping/Welding Inspectors for an ongoing gas lift project in Dukhan, Qatar. You will conduct piping and welding inspections per project specs and standards, performing VT, RT, UT, MT and PT as applicable.

Candidates must have 10+ years in inspection, 5+ years in Oil & Gas, QatarEnergy approval, ASNT Level II in VT/RT/UT/MT/PT, CSWIP 3.2, and ISO 9001 knowledge, with strong documentation and coordination with QA/QC teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years inspection experience, including 5+ years in Oil & Gas.
• Valid QatarEnergy approval mandatory.
• CSWIP 3.2 certification and ASNT Level II in VT/RT/UT/MT/PT required.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical piping and welding inspections per project specifications and standards.
• Perform VT, RT, UT, MT, and PT inspections as applicable.
• Verify welding activities, inspection records, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 QMS and coordinate with QA/QC teams.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical piping and welding inspections in accordance with approved project specifications and standards.
• Perform VT, RT, UT, MT, and PT inspections as applicable.
• Verify welding activities, inspection records, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and applicable codes.
• Monitor inspection activities and coordinate with project and QA/QC teams.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of inspection experience, including 5 years in Oil & Gas.
• Valid QatarEnergy approval is mandatory.
• ASNT Level II certifications in VT, RT, UT, MT, and PT.
• CSWIP 3.2 certification mandatory.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements and implementation.
• Availability for the required joining date.
