Job summary

Four Seasons Doha is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to ensure reliable operation of hotel mechanical systems across our luxury property. You will inspect, repair and maintain pumps, motors, generators, HVAC and kitchen equipment, while adhering to safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience in hotels or resorts, strong problem-solving and teamwork, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a hotel, resort, or commercial property.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, motors, machinery, and basic HVAC equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out repairs effectively.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language, Arabic is an asset

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel mechanical equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, generators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other mechanical machinery.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and mechanical breakdowns throughout the hotel.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential faults and prevent equipment failures.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of mechanical components as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report major faults to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Support the Engineering team with other maintenance tasks when required.
