Job summary

Four Seasons Doha seeks an experienced Electrician to maintain and repair the hotel’s electrical systems, ensuring safety and reliability across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house spaces.

The role requires 2–3 years in hospitality electrical work, knowledge of wiring, lighting, motors, and fault diagnosis, and the ability to read electrical drawings. Shift work, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in hospitality.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, motors, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• English reading/writing proficient; Arabic is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, wiring, lighting, sockets, switches, and distribution boards.
• Attend to electrical maintenance requests in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure all electrical systems are safe and in good working condition.
• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and minor improvement works as required.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and follow hotel safety procedures.
• Support the Engineering team with other maintenance duties when required.
