Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel in Doha is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel mechanical systems, including pumps, motors and HVAC equipment. You will troubleshoot faults, replace components, and support a busy engineering team with safe, high-quality service.

Ideal candidates hold technical mechanical qualifications with 2–3 years of relevant hotel or commercial property experience, strong English communication, and readiness to work shifts,

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Mechanical maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• Preferably in a hotel, resort or commercial property.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems: pumps, motors, machinery, and basic HVAC equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out repairs effectively.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Arabic is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel mechanical equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain pumps, motors, generators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment and other mechanical machinery.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and mechanical breakdowns throughout the hotel.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential faults and prevent equipment failures.
• Perform repairs, adjustments and replacements of mechanical components as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment and spare parts in good working condition.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report major faults to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Support the Engineering team with other maintenance tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel mechanical equipment and systems
• Inspect troubleshoot repair and maintain pumps motors generators kitchen equipment laundry equipment and other mechanical machinery
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and mechanical breakdowns throughout the hotel
