Position Overview: Qatar Airways is hiring a Materials Control and Production Analyst in Doha, Qatar to oversee material movement, inventory accuracy, and waste reduction within airline catering and cargo operations. This role focuses on fiscal compliance, food production material control, and analytical reporting to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor material receiving, storage, issuance, and internal distribution processes to ensure fiscal and quality compliance.
• Maintain accurate variance records for audit tracking and trend analysis.
• Investigate discrepancies from actual versus theoretical material reports and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Store Management and Business Improvement teams to reduce waste using Lean 5S and 7 Waste methodologies.
• Verify material movement controls to ensure robust internal processes.
• Analyse daily consumption and wastage reports to drive operational improvements.
• Conduct root cause assessments for substitutions and material variances.
• Prepare detailed material control reports to support management decisions.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures across production and dispatch processes.
• Review inventory regularly to identify slow-moving, obsolete, or surplus materials.
• Support food safety compliance and quality management standards within production cycles.

Ideal Profile

• High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large production datasets.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or catering environments.
