Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain fiscal and quality compliance across goods receiving, storage, internal distribution, portioning, and dispatch processes
  • Verify stores receiving and issuing activities on all shifts and act as a key point of contact for material supervisors and stakeholders
  • Investigate material variance reports and lead corrective actions supported by data analysis and action plans
  • Implement and monitor internal control measures for material movement and usage within operations
  • Maintain accurate variance records for audit requirements and trend analysis
  • Collaborate with business improvement and store management teams to reduce waste and apply Lean 5S and waste removal practices
  • Analyse daily consumption, wastage, and substitution reports to drive operational improvements
  • Assess substitutions to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare material control analysis and performance reports to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and support the review and development of SOPs when required
  • Review inventory regularly to identify slow-moving, obsolete, or surplus materials and recommend sale, loan, or exchange options
Ideal Profile
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
