Job summary

QatarEnergy in Doha is seeking a Materials Preservation Lead to coordinate and supervise warehouse preservation activities, KPIs, and safety. You will lead third-party contractors and the preservation team to meet reliability goals and ensure materials are preserved and fit for use.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 8 years in oil and gas, and familiarity with contract management and supplier relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied science or logistics.
• Training or certification on material preservation techniques and standards.
• 8 years experience in oil and gas industry with knowledge of supplier relations and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor preservation activities and KPIs ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Assess preservation needs by analyzing material types, storage durations and conditions.
• Supervise and evaluate contractors and warehouse staff for preservation tasks and contract compliance.
• Prepare preservation data analysis and report milestones, issues, and improvements.
• Guide preservation personnel to ensure task knowledge, safety, and process efficiency.
• Support inventory readiness and ensure preserved materials remain usable.
