Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a Planning Engineer to lead and coordinate Planning functions across Operations, Maintenance, Central, and Outsourcing Planning, reporting to the Lead Planning.

You will ensure resources, plans, materials and budgets enable safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations, with strong SAP-PM/MM, MS Project/Primavera P6, and MS Office expertise. The role requires 10–12 years in Oil & Gas and a B.Sc. in Engineering.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in Oil and Gas, including maintenance planning, scheduling, work control, contracting, and budget/cost control.
• Proficient in MS Office and planning software (MS Project, Primavera P6, APM, SAP).
• Knowledge of SAP-PM, MM and related planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Operations Planning, Maintenance Planning, Central Planning, and Outsourcing Planning.
• Coordinate with Sections to ensure resources, plans, materials and budgets support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.
