Job summary

Telford Offshore is seeking a Master with overall authority for health and safety of all personnel onboard the vessel and for the safety of the vessel and environment. The Master must implement the Company's Safety Management System, ensure compliance with Flag State, Classification Society and local rules, and coordinate maintenance and training to uphold safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Company's Safety Management System and ensure crew compliance with its policies.
• Ensure the vessel complies with Flag State, Classification Society and local regulations for safe and efficient operation.
• Manage planning, organisation and control of vessel activities and maintenance to ensure safety equipment and systems are kept in good order.
• Ensure all marine personnel hold the appropriate qualifications and certifications for their rank and receive familiarisation with vessel layout, procedures and safety systems.
• Oversee safety systems onboard, including safety committees, inspections and permit-to-work systems, and support safe navigation in transit, at port and during DP operations.
