Job summary

Telford Offshore is seeking an experienced Chief Electrician to join our DP3 Accommodation / Construction Barge operating in Doha, Qatar.

Rotation: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off. Requirements include minimum 2 years' experience in rank on DP diesel-electric vessels, H2S OPITO certificate, and DP Maintenance certificate. Responsibilities cover maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment, DP maintenance, and keeping detailed logs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in rank on DP DIESEL-ELECTRIC vessels.
• Holding H2S OPITO certificate.
• Holding DP Maintenance certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Heli-admin and Helicopter communications.
• Check that any company or client's electrical / electronic equipment mobilised on board is suitable and compatible to the vessel electrical supplies.
• Check that the above equipment complies with Rules, Regulations and Standards for electric equipment.
• Maintaining a spare part stock for electric / electronic equipment.
• Maintain a detailed log where all maintenance is recorded.
• DP maintenance.
• Planned Maintenance System and follow up.
