Job summary

Jotun Paints Qatar W.L.L. is seeking a Marketing Officer to support and execute decorative marketing plans in Qatar.

You will coordinate projects across product, brand, retail and communications, and work with regional marketing and Sales to ensure timely execution aligned with business priorities. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field and 1–2 years of marketing experience, preferably in FMCG or building materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in FMCG/building materials.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong coordination, communication and organisational skills; proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of local decorative marketing plans aligned with regional strategies.
• Coordinate and execute marketing projects across product, brand, retail and communications.
• Assist product launches, portfolio updates and packaging changes with marketing materials.
• Coordinate promotional programs, brand activations, events and digital activities.
• Collaborate with regional marketing, Sales and internal teams for timely execution.
• Liaise with external agencies and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor market and competitor activity to support product positioning decisions.
• Handle marketing administration, documentation and reporting per company guidelines.

Job description

As a Marketing Officer, you will support the implementation of Decorative Marketing plans through coordination and execution of assigned marketing projects, product initiatives, promotional activities and brand communication. Work closely with internal teams, regional marketing and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution in line with business priorities, supporting sales growth and strengthening brand presence in Qatar.

This position that is based in Qatar and reporting to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of local Decorative Marketing plans in line with regional strategies and business priorities.
• Take ownership of the coordination and execution of assigned marketing projects across product, brand, retail and marketing communication activities.
• Support the local implementation of product launches, portfolio updates, product transitions, packaging changes and related marketing materials.
• Coordinate and implement promotional programs, brand activations, events and digital and social media activities, including localization of regional campaigns.
• Work closely with regional marketing, Sales and other internal departments to ensure effective and timely execution of planned activities.
• Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of marketing activities and materials.
• Conduct market visits, monitor competitor activities and analyze relevant market and sales data to support product positioning and marketing decisions.
• Manage assigned marketing administrative tasks, documentation, material ordering and reporting in compliance with company guidelines and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in FMCG, paints, building materials or a similar industry.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic marketing knowledge with strong coordination, communication and organizational skills, a proactive approach, and willingness to learn and develop.
