Job summary

Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara seeks an experienced marine maintenance technician to manage the resort's marine fleet and related equipment. The role includes logging service records, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, and coordinating with engineering staff to ensure high reliability of boats and vehicles.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in the field, strong English communication, solid technical skills, and the ability to handle pressure and multitask in a busy resort

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and updates marine vehicles record system of the resort.
• Supervises repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment in water-based vehicles.
• Attends to repair and maintenance of land-based vehicles when requested.
• Records all service & repairs for boats, vehicles and equipment and keeps spare parts logs.
• Carry out Preventive Maintenance program.
• Carry out electric arc welding and oxy-acetylene welding if capable and needed.
• Carry out minor fabrication and metal work when required.
• Advices improvements to optimize operating efficiency and economy.
