Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha is seeking an experienced Marine Mechanic with 5-6 years of hands-on experience to join our maintenance team. You will service and overhaul marine diesel engines, generators, pumps, and compressors, ensuring equipment reliability for offshore and coastal operations.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings, using precision tools, and conducting preventive and corrective maintenance.

Qualifications

5–6 years of experience as a Marine Mechanic.
Experience with marine diesel engines, generators, pumps and compressors.
Skilled in maintenance, repair, overhauling and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of hydraulic, cooling, fuel and lubrication systems.
Experience with gearboxes, shafts, bearings and mechanical components.
Ability to read mechanical drawings/manuals.
Skilled in using mechanical hand and precision tools.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on marine propulsion and auxiliary systems.
Repair and overhaul marine diesel engines, generators, pumps, and compressors.
Troubleshoot mechanical faults and recommend repairs.
Inspect and replace worn mechanical components such as gearboxes, shafts, bearings.
Read mechanical drawings and manuals to support maintenance tasks.
Use precision tools safely and effectively.
Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities.
