Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Technician for utilities and product handling. The role requires a Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field and a minimum of 6 years of mechanical maintenance experience across heavy industrial settings.

You will maintain equipment including cooling towers, boilers, pumps, and conveyors, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure adherence to PTW, LOTO and HSE procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in utilities, fertilizer, power plant, port, cement, mining, or heavy industrial plant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cooling towers, boilers, air compressors, diesel engines, pumps, valves, and gearboxes.
• Maintain conveyors, reclaimers, ship loaders, storage tanks, and product handling systems.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
• Carry out equipment inspection, repair, alignment, and overhauling.
• Follow PTW, LOTO, and HSE procedures.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating and static mechanical equipment.
• Maintain pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, turbines, valves, vessels, exchangers and piping.
• Carry out equipment installation, removal and reinstallation activities.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings, isometrics and datasheets.
• Inspect work quality and rectify identified mechanical faults.
