Job description

Overview

Maintenance Planning Engineer – Instrument (M/F) for SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar. Contract: temporary, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Prime responsibility for planning daily maintenance activities with the goal of right-first-time job performance to maximize equipment reliability and improve maintenance tool time and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, materials and services.
• Independently develop cost and time estimates for planned maintenance work to meet budgets and schedules.
• Plan and coordinate SAP Maintenance module activities (preferably SAP S4HANA): order planning, purchase requisitions, service entry sheets, call-off orders, service orders, and maintenance-related master data creation, updating and deletion as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Engineering degree (Instrument)
• 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industries
• Competency in SAP EAM / SAP S4HANA maintenance module and related master data management
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
